Crosby Beach Visit - Lower School

Pupils and staff enjoyed a trip to Crosby Beach to experience Sir Antony Gormley's "Another Place" statue emplacement.  They enjoyed seeing and exploring the beach and collecting stones, shells, drift-wood and sea-glass. They wrote their names in the sand and had a chance to look at the docks and the variety of ships which come in and out and how they are kept safe doing so. They also got to see the off shore wind farm and the juxtaposition of the inland power station. We also had a chance to have a picnic on the beach and make hot chocolate which all the students seemed to really enjoy.
